Trend Alert: The power of contouring

Now that you know your face shape it is time to shine like a star; click HERE for my previous post if you don't already know.
you can achieve the contoured look without much make up and this is how to do it.

First, you need to know that the idea behind contouring is to use darker shades to take attention away from some areas and lighter shades to highlight others. This is necessary to achieve symmetry so if you have a round face, you'll need to contour the round areas and highlight the high parts of your face like the nose, cheekbones and jaw.
you need the following:
  • A foundation/concealer that matches your skin tone
  • A foundation/concealer that is 2 shades darker and another 2 shades lighter than your tone
  • An eye shadow that matches your tone and another that is 2 shades lighter than your tone
  • An eyeliner
  • Blush
  • Nude lip stick

So start by applying the lighter foundation directly under your eyes, under your brow bone, forehead and the top of your nose, then apply the darker foundation to the sides of your nose and the corners of your cheekbones, your hairline and chin.

Blend with your right powder shade... Now don't forget your nude lipstick or your red matte for a fierce look.
